Vasoactive intestinal peptide (VIP) is a naturally occurring linear polypeptide of 28 amino acids with an amide at its C-terminus.
VIP acts through receptors involved in blood-vessel relaxation and immune and nervous-system signalling. Vasodilation, anti-inflammatory effects and neuroprotection are areas of research; these are not established benefits of a product.
